Anbernic's next dual-screen handheld trades nostalgia for a Snapdragon kick

There's a specific joy in a hinge that clicks with intent, and Anbernic clearly understands it. The RG DDS is the next step in the company's dual-screen evolution, swapping the retro charm of the RG DS and RG DS Plus for a Snapdragon core that promises actual kick under the hood. It's still 3DS-inspired, sure, but this isn't a nostalgia trip; it's a hardware upgrade with a familiar silhouette. We're gently skeptical about how well Android plays across two screens, but the potential is delicious. If you're the type who circles back to the weird and wonderful, keep this one on the tab. And while you're at it, the $146 Await camera reminds us that sometimes the best tech is the stuff that makes you slow down. Stay spooty.
