Your drill battery just became your laptop charger, no outlet required

A charged drill battery and a dying laptop can sit on the same table and still be useless to each other. That feels like an oversight so obvious it should have been fixed years ago, and now DeWalt has finally done something about it. Their new adapter lets you plug a laptop charger directly into a job-site battery pack, turning a tool you already own into a portable power station for your most important device. It is not a concept render or a crowdfunding promise either, DeWalt actually sells this thing. The adapter itself is simple, almost boring, which is exactly the point. No inverter, no extra cables, just a direct line from the battery's terminals to your laptop's USB-C port.
