self-heating mug

Ember's fancy hot-drink cup finally gets a price that doesn't sting

Woot just slid an Ember Cup onto the counter for $32.99, and that's not a typo. We've always loved the idea of a mug that holds your drinking temperature hostage, but not the usual $100 ransom. At six ounces, this handle-free cup is built for espresso drinks and people who enjoy refilling their coffee like a ritual rather than a chore. You set your preferred heat between 120 and 145 degrees Fahrenheit through the app, and it holds steady for 95 minutes off the charger, four hours with the lid, or all day on the dock. It's hand-wash only, even with that IPX7 rating. If you're already digging through Woot's Home and Kitchen Sale, the code COOK shaves another $20 off $100 orders, just like the deals hiding in those Lowe's tool sets we covered.
