Jaguar Type 01

Jaguar's Type 01 is a 1,000-horsepower GT that remembers it's British

Jaguar has remembered it's British. The Type 01 lands as a 1,000-horsepower four-door GT that refuses to shout about it, opting instead for a low-slung profile and an explicitly British design lineage that feels like a stiff upper lip in sheet metal. This is the first production model on Jaguar's dedicated electric architecture, promising more than 1,000ps and around 400 miles of EPA range. It's a big, confident bet from a brand that's been quiet for too long. I love that it doesn't try to look like everything else. The shape is purposeful, almost restrained, which makes the horsepower figure feel like a secret it's letting you in on. If the Freckle phone hands kids a field guide instead of a leash, this hands drivers a grand tourer that actually remembers where it came from.
