Hiroshi Fujiwara

BRABUS and Fragment tag-team a $50K e-moto for the crosswalk set

The BRABUS Urban E Fragment Edition is a $50,000 electric motorcycle that looks like Hiroshi Fujiwara whispered directly into its frame. That price tag puts it in a strange, aggressive little pocket, too expensive for a commuter, too small for a highway bike, and absolutely perfect for someone who wants to park a design collaboration on their crosswalk. BRABUS has already given the Urban E its usual pumped-up treatment, but this Fragment version adds a rare layer of street-level curation from the Japanese designer who helped shape an entire era of sneaker and streetwear culture. The real question is whether this motorcycle earns its price through hardware or through that name on the side.
