dual phone charging

Peak Design's new flat-folding charger begs you to bring a second phone

Peak Design's new flat-folding charger begs you to bring a second phone. The Charging Station folds flat to charge two phones, which is a neat trick when your desk is already a disaster of cables and forgotten earbuds. Charging a phone and a pair of earbuds is easy enough, but sharing that same stand with another phone is a different matter. Peak Design solved it by making the whole thing disappear when you're done. It's the kind of thoughtful engineering that makes you wonder why every charger isn't this clever. If you liked when Peak Design told us to stop settling for cheap plastic, this feels like the natural next step, a charger that earns its spot on your desk by getting out of your way. Bring a friend's phone.
