MIXO's detachable face lets your AI buddy follow you out the door

MIXO's detachable face means your AI buddy can follow you out the door, which is either adorable or slightly unsettling depending on how you feel about screens staring at you from across the room. The concept gives a digital companion a round, expressive face that pops off its base and goes wherever you go, desk, kitchen, coffee shop, probably the bathroom if you're that attached. It's early, it's a concept, and I'm already wondering how long before the battery gives up mid-conversation. But the thinking is sharp: an AI that doesn't abandon you when you stand up. That's the razor clam here. If you liked wondering whether the DA1 camera really needs a screen, MIXO asks a similar question in reverse, how much face does an AI actually need?
