Le Labo Buried Its New Diffuser in Concrete and It Slaps

Le Labo buried its new diffuser in concrete and somehow that makes total sense. The brand took something that usually sits quietly on a shelf and turned it into a brutalist little object that asks to be touched. Diffusers are one of those things that don't necessarily have to be decorative as long as they fulfill their function. Their main role is to scent a room, not to start a conversation. But this one does both. The concrete shell isn't just a gimmick, it's porous, which means it breathes with the fragrance instead of just holding it. That's the razor clam detail. Everyone else scrolls past the material choice. Le Labo bet the whole design on it. Will it chip? Probably. Will it look better when it does? Absolutely.
