The Apple TV 4K discount arrived before the box did

Amazon just did something weird: it discounted an Apple product that isn't even out yet. The new Apple TV 4K, landing November 13th, normally costs $299, nearly double the 2022 model's launch price, and Amazon is already shaving off $9 for preorders. Tiny? Sure. But when a box costs this much, you take the crumbs. The real story is what that extra cash buys: a far-field microphone array so you can shout "find me a nature documentary" from across the room, plus Siri AI that knows your context if you've got an iPhone nearby. The remote now chirps when you lose it, thanks to Find My precision tracking. Missing: audio passthrough, 120fps output, and the sense that $300 for a streamer doesn't still feel like a lot.
