Traveling in May, recommendations

Hello All, I am looking to travel anywhere in india in the first week of May from Delhi. I will be traveling with a female friend. Can someone please help me find the place for this.. I am looking for a mix of adventure, beauty, partying and safety. any recommendations will be very helpful.
