Hair perfume/hair mists containing alcohol

I’ve been trying to find a hair perfume/mist and literally all I see have denatured alcohol in them, usually the first ingredient. Are people really spraying alcohol into their hair?? That sounds so damaging especially if you have color treated hair or any sort of bond treatment… am I missing something here? I have keratin treated hair so maybe I’m just being extra paranoid but I can’t see myself sparing straight up alcohol into my normal hair either 😭
