How to promote an exhibition

Hi all! I am a photographer based in the UK. I am doing my first solo exhibition and wanted suggestions with how to promote it. I have done a few tiktoks, distributed flyers in the town (planning to do this again) and posted on Instagram. I’m not sure what else to do. What’s putting me off is the time slots I have had to organise as it’s during work hours, this is because where I’m doing it is a studio space where artists work and they’re only open until 5pm. I’m worried people won’t be able to visit. Only a few people have booked so far. People have reached out to ask if it’s open on weekends and it’s not which is making me upset. I have worked really hard on this.

I am also working on a press release and my work will be featured in an article which is cool. My family thinks once photos of the exhibition will release it’ll prompt people to visit.

What do you suggest I could do for ways to promote it? Any advice would really help!!
