Will the 40+ crowd give me some recommendations on YouTubers (or other videos) to watch?

I never put a ton of work into studying makeup application, but I’ve been trying to take steps to help me feel better about my appearance lately. I am not on TikTok. When I look up videos on YouTube, they say “light” makeup, but they’re painting on primer, foundation, powder, all the product, and setting spray. Any recommendations, assuming decent skin (I don’t need a ton of primer or foundation + powder), for just good tips? Looking for basic eyeshadow, blush, lip lining, etc without caking things on.

My apologies, this probably seems like a basic question. I really appreciate everything I’ve already learned from the active posters in this sub.
