Bali travel

Hello thinking of going to Bali with a group of girls 10/27- 11/8. I heard this is their rainy season and that the mornings arent too bad. Is the weather during this time frame so unfavorable that I should reconsider for some time next year? My back up for this time frame is Thailand instead if Bali during this time isn't going to work out. Just curious from anyone out there or who has traveled there during these times what their experience was like. Thanks!
