does anyone else shave their face?

as a peach fuzz girly, i’ve been shaving my face for 2 years and i always find my makeup goes on better and my skin looks cleaner and brighter.

but i always worry that shaving my face will darken the skin overtime, specially around the stache/lips area, like some sort of hyperpigmentation.

plus, my mom is strongly against the idea of facial shaving because the hair might grow back pricklier and thicker like men’s!
