Which beach San Diego

We are headed to the San Diego area for our honeymoon in September and couldn’t leave are doggos behind!

My question is which area should we stay? Are all the beaches around there dog friendly or should we stick to the Dog Beach? We’ve got two life of the party dogs and one reserved that will probably be on a leash regardless unless we find a place not super busy.

We are also planning to stay five days and snorkel or kayaking in La Jolla, golf anywhere recommended, whale watching or deep sea fishing, and some beach days.
