Ushuaia in August
Hello! I’m going on exchange in Chile in July and I’m planning an itinerary after I’m done with the academics. My plan so far includes Easter Island and Atacama. After those I want to do something else. I’ve been thinking about Ushuaia but I’m a little hesitant about the weather during this time of the year. Can someone please share their experience about travelling there in August? ls is really cold? Are the winds strong? Are buses between cities going? Are there often flight cancellations? For context, I’ve been in Iceland during peak winter, so I have proper equipment. Should I expect something similar? I’m also open to any other suggestions for what else to consider doing.
Thank you!
