California trip: Deciding between Santa Barbara, Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, or Monterey

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip in late May / early June and trying to decide between Santa Barbara, Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, or Monterey.

Our priorities are:

• Sunny weather (trying to avoid the May Gray / marine layer if possible)

• Romantic vibe / good ambiance

• Good restaurants and bars

• Nice ocean views and walkable areas

We’re coming from out of state and just want the best overall experience for a long weekend. Any one of these spots would fit our budget, just needed some expertise.
