Still using a round brush or switched to hot air brush

I’ve noticed that hot air brushes seem to be way more popular now— they’re basically a dryer + brush in one, and a lot easier to use, especially if you’re not great at blowouts,

But at the same time, I still see quite a few people sticking with a regular round brush, even though it takes more effort and technique.

So I’m curious— for those of you who still use a round brush: What makes you prefer it?

Is there something a hot air brush doesn’t do as well? Or is it more about the final result/control/hair type?

Just trying to understand the difference from real experiences.🫶
