I work in consulting — got tired of copy-pasting from PDFs into workpapers, so I built this inside the Excel taskpane

Been doing document extraction for aviation leasing clients. Every engagement is the same — read through PDFs, pull numbers into Excel, note which page it came from. Built an add-in that sits in the taskpane. You link a folder, ask it to extract, and it fills the cells. Each cell gets a comment with the source:
