Landlord entered my apartment without notice while I was at work and moved my stuff around. Location: Texas

Location: Texas. So I came home yesterday and immediately noticed things were different in my apartment. My couch was pushed against a different wall, some boxes I had stacked in the corner were moved to the middle of the room, and my bathroom cabinet was open when I always keep it closed. I texted my landlord and he confirmed he came in to "check on a potential plumbing issue" but said he didn't need to give notice for maintenance checks. I looked at my lease and it says he needs to give 24 hours notice except in cases of emergency. I don't think a "potential" plumbing issue counts as an emergency, especially since nothing was actually wrong — he didn't fix anything or leave any note, just came in and aparently went through my whole place. I'm not sure what to do here. I want to send him something in writing but I don't know if I should mention the lease clause directly or keep it vague. Also is this actually illegal in Texas or just a lease violation, and does that distinction matter for what options I have? I have a pretty good relationship with this landlord overall so I dont want to blow things up if I don't have to, but this felt really invasive and I want it documented somewhere.
