Showing the return of the functions

Hello. I'm starting to use Excel and my biggest difficulty has been knowing/visualizing what type of data the functions return. I would like to know if there is any way to display the values returned by the formulas.

Example:
=VLOOKUP(lookup_value, table_array, col_index_num, [range_lookup]) -> (any)
=CONCAT(text1, [text2]) -> (string)
