How Are Recent US Politics Changing Your Fashion Buying & Consumption Habits
Mods- remove if not allowed.
In light if current events i realize I will never, EVER, purchase from Victoria Secret, Abercrombie, Lane Bryant, Bath and Body Works, AE....the list keeps growing.
I was already doing pretty good at divesting from fast fashion but new revelations have helped immensely. Im NOT interested in my money going to hurt women or kids, and I'm able to better see the direct correlation of where I buy a sweater, and suffering in supply chains.
How, if at all, will current events change your shopping habits?
How can we better vet the ethical stance of our brands?
Any brands on your never again list?
I'm also so excited and hopeful for where aesthetics will go after divesting from a gaze that has been unwholesome for the past 50 years. I think more bodies and true sophisticated, adult beauty will be embraced & empowered.
Theres a lot going on. It will impact fashion.
