Capture values under specific non-adjacent columns only

https://postimg.cc/gallery/BJ1mNvV

I’m trying to capture the MEB balances (Red headers) for quarters from the source using index match or vlookup. However, the source data has MAB, MEB and CDAB for all quarters. Screenshots of Source and Final sheet formats.

Constraints:

I cant change the format of the source format in any way, hence no deletion of columns other than MEB or moving MEB columns before MAB.

I could use vlookup by adding all the specific column numbers but out of curiousity, trying to build one formula which i can drag across all cells and get the result.

Tentative approach:

I’m trying to find if there is a way to select specific columns in the index array function but havent been able to.
