Repair or give up?

Hi, Over the last year Ive done my best to buy second hand and repair the things I already own but I'm struggling to do the same with shoes. This is a pair of Aldo heels that I bought on vinted. They were meant to be my work / dinner heels. The previous owner had only worn them once, I wore them twice and the heel caps broke. I got them sorted by my local cobbler, wore them to work on the Friday, then again for Valentine's breakfast today and the heel snapped 😭

My question is - is it better to keep spending money on repairing these low quality heels or should I give up on them? I don't want to throw them out so I'd have to find some use for them.
